Manny lives with his parents, Beth and Daniel, and siblings, Jacob, Kaley, Sam, Luke and Zoe.

Diagnosis

Manny is diagnosed with Merosin Deficient Congenital Muscular Dystrophy. At least 30 different types of Congenital Muscular Dystrophy are now recognized.

School

Along with his brothers and sisters, Manny is home schooled.

Interests

Manny loves firefighters! In fact, he requested his new motorized wheelchair be the color red and he calls it “Big Red”. Manny also enjoys Angry Birds, playing games on his iPad, and everything Disney related.

MDA Activities

The entire Gore family has represented MDA at many events statewide including: firefighter conferences and station visits, Muscle Walk (Team Mighty Manny), Lowes store visits, Show of Strength Telethon, Muscle Team, Shamrock store visits and as Parent Support Group guest speakers.
