Kyle is the son of Debbie and Andrew Eggleston. He is the oldest of three children and has two dogs.

Diagnosis

Kyle has Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. In DMD, boys begin to show signs of muscle weakness as early as age 3. The disease gradually weakens the skeletal, or voluntary, muscles, those in the arms, legs and trunk. By the early teens or even earlier, the boy’s heart and respiratory muscles also may be affected.

Interests

Kyle plays power soccer. He also loves football and enjoys playing video games.

MDA Activities

Kyle has participated in several MDA events such as Jiffy Lube fundraisers, Milton and the State of Georgia fire fighter proclamation ceremonies. Kyle also attends summer camp. Kyle has participated in the local goodwill ambassador program for several years and was nominated State Goodwill Ambassador for 2015!
