Phoebe lives with her parents and two older sisters. Phoebe’s father, Noah, also lives with Charcot-Marie-Tooth (CMT).

Diagnosis

Phoebe was diagnosed at age 11 with CMT, a disease her father has been diagnosed with although, his onset was later in life. CMT results in overall muscle weakness with possible joint stiffness or looseness.

School

Phoebe attends middle school and likes to study science, math and French. She also belongs to the Math Club.

Interests

Phoebe enjoys spending time with her sisters. She also likes to read and draw.

MDA Activities

Since her trip to MDA Summer Camp, Phoebe has started archery lessons. Archery is one of the activities that she learned at camp. She also enjoys swimming, arts & crafts and making friendship bracelets. While being our Goodwill Ambassador she is attending local events in Rhode Island like fire station visits, shamrock kick off parties and Boot Camp. Phoebe is also followed by the MDA Clinic at Boston Children’s Hospital.
