We’re thrilled to announce a new partnership that will bring MDA’s resources in front of The Mighty‘s wide-reaching readership. MDA will also now have a growing home page on The Mighty where people can get involved with us.

The Mighty is a story-based health community focused on improving the lives of people facing disease, disorder and disability. More than half of Americans are facing serious health conditions or medical issues. They want more than information. They want to be inspired. The Mighty publishes real stories about real people facing real challenges.

We’re focused on helping people affected by muscle-debilitating diseases including muscular dystrophy, SMA and ALS. And our umbrella approach to funding treatments and cures for 43 different diseases in hopes they will yield results that can be applied across diseases fits very well with The Mighty’s commitment to sharing diverse stories of strength and hope.

Creating broad mainstream awareness of our diseases is one of the most powerful ways to effect change. We believe that partnering with The Mighty and interacting regularly with their wide readership will enable us to spread the word about our families and the cures and treatments they so desperately want — and in turn help even more people.
