September is National Preparedness Month. Emergencies can happen in an instant and without warning. From weather-related events and other natural disasters to emergencies such as chemical spills and power outages, the unexpected can put you and your family in danger — unless you plan ahead. Please join us for an important discussion about how families living with neuromuscular disease can be prepared for any urgent situation. Topics to be covered include:
- The nature of emergencies
- Developing an evacuation plan
- Putting together a “go kit”
- Understanding your specific needs based on your individual situation
Join us on September 29th at 3pm CST.
Additionally, please be sure to bookmark this link for MDA’s comprehensive list of emergency resources for our families.
