Signature Half / Full Marathon Events this Fall
CHICAGO, June 1, 2015 — The Muscular Dystrophy Association is offering an exclusive opportunity for anyone interested in participating in the sold out 2015 Bank of America Chicago and Marine Corps Marathons to secure guaranteed entry by signing up through the organization’s nationwide endurance program, MDA Team Momentum. However, space is limited.
This national endurance program includes world-class training that is customized for all levels and abilities, and a supportive community of teammates, volunteers, coaches and mentors. Visit MDAteam.org to learn more and sign up today.
“With Team Momentum, you’ll map your course, finish your race and achieve your own personal victory. It’ll change your life; even better, it’ll change the lives of kids and adults fighting neuromuscular disease,” said MDA National Director of Endurance Alison Tibbits. “Members train, endure, and triumph together, all while raising critical funds and awareness for MDA families.”
MDA Team Momentum is also currently recruiting participants for additional signature marathon events happening this fall across the country. ABOUT MDA Team Momentum:
MDA Team Momentum is a nationwide endurance program that gives beginner and endurance pros alike the opportunity to participate in an endurance race, a marathon or half-marathon, and dedicate their efforts to the fight against muscular dystrophy, ALS and related life-threatening diseases that severely limit strength and mobility for those affected.
Every mile logged and every dollar raised will help MDA find treatments and cures for these debilitating diseases while supporting its life-enhancing programs such as state-of-the-art support groups and clinics, and will help send local children to a week where anything is possible at MDA summer camp at no cost to their families.
