This summer, as MDA and our families defy daily challenges together to live unlimited, we’re having a little fun. And on June 24, we’re having a whole lot of it.

We’re teaming up with two of Legendary Digital Networks’ top Internet channels – Geek & Sundry, founded by actress Felicia Day, and Smart Girls, founded by Amy Poehler and Meredith Walker – to bring you a 24-hour live online gaming and variety show. Celebrity guests, role-playing games with cast members of the web series Critical Role, trivia, improv performances, serious rounds of Rock Band, science experiments, giveaways, special shout-outs and more will delight from 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT/8 p.m. MT/7 p.m. PT Friday to 10 p.m. ET/9 p.m. CT/8 p.m. MT/7 p.m. PT. Saturday on G&S’ Twitch channel. And did we mention there will be puppies? The crew is bringing in lots of puppies.

It’s all a celebration of who we are, quirks and interests and signature dance moves and all. Nothing can hold us back from living fully, or from encouraging others to do the same, which is why donations made during the show will be interactive. Some will change the course of a performance, and others will make performances – say, a rendition of your favorite Rock Band track or a drawing created live by a comic book artist – possible. On a small scale, it represents what donations do on a large scale for MDA families: change lives.

MDA National Goodwill Ambassador Joe Akmakjian and MDA advocate Angela Wrigglesworth will also be on hand Saturday to participate in the game-a-thon.
