Alice lives with her parents and two brothers: John (who has Duchenne) and Daniel.

Diagnosis

Alice was diagnosed with Female Manifesting Carrier Syndrome Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy at age 6.

School

Alice is in 7th grade and enjoys Math and Science.

Interests

Alice’s interests include piano, choir, swimming, camping, listening to music, and science. Alice is also a great golfer!

MDA Activities

Alice served as one of our co State Goodwill Ambassadors and had the opportunity to meet with Alaska’s Congressman Don Young, as well as Alaska’s Lieutenant Governor Mead Treadwell. She was also a guest speaker at the Firefighters Association luncheon and was a voice in the radio spot for Alaska’s 2014 Muscle Walk. Alice participates in Shamrocks, Muscle Walk, Fill the Boot, An Evening of Hope Gala, and MDA Summer Camp.
