Marion is a happy-go-lucky girl who lives with her mom, Kima, and dad, Izzy. She has two dogs- a poodle named Cloud and a cockapoo named Jager.

Diagnosis

Congenital Muscular Dystrophy (CMD) refers to a group of muscular dystrophies that become apparent at or near birth. CMD is a genetic, degenerative disease that results in overall muscle weakness, primarily affecting voluntary muscles.

School

Marion is a 7th grader who enjoys school. Her favorite classes are science and history.

Interests

Marion loves anything outdoors including fishing, hunting and camping. This year, she shot her first deer! She also enjoys hanging out with friends and family, having sleepovers and watching movies. She likes arts and crafts, especially scrapbooking.

MDA Activities

Marion has been active with MDA since she was 4 years old! In addition to going to summer camp each year, she has participated in the annual Telethon, Shamrocks, Fill the Boot, Muscle Walks, Lock-ups, and more! For the past few years, she has also helped with our Harley-Davidson gala and benefit rides.
